Technologies:
The Dominion has made advancements across the scientific field, including transporter technology, cloaking technology, Metaphasic Shielding (more commonly called star shields). Some of the technology employed by the Dominion was acquired from Naruni Enterprises or garnered from Member worlds. The Krellians originally developed the advanced genetic engineering techniques used in Juicer conversions for example. Contra-gravitonic drives, less powerful perhaps, then Meta-field drives, were purchased from the Consortium of Civilized Worlds.

Dominion scientists developed other technologies like the Trandimensional drive and the new, experimental Bionetics. Bionetic implants are virtually identical to their cybernetic counterparts save that Bionetic implants and limbs are organitech in nature. This provides the implants with an inherent regenerative ability.

Weapons technology is also advanced. The Dominion rarely employs laser technology anymore. Research has allowed for the more powerful PULSE technology. Even Particle Beam and Ion cannon technologies are advanced, offering more compact systems and more efficient heat management. Missile weapons are advancing too. With the successful testing of the Magic Missile weapon system, TW weaponry is more common now then ever.

One of the principle suppliers of military hardware and equipment is DynaTech Industries. They produce weapons, equipment, robots, power armor, fighter craft, and starships.

One of the more recent decisions of Emperor Arcanis, in conjunction with the Councils of Science and Military was to begin research and development of mutant animals. Central Intelligence Agents located inside the Coalition States research facility were able to obtain critical documents, specimens, and technologies. Added to this were the advances the Dreztarians had made in the centuries prior to joining the Dominion. There is also some thought into creating human/humanoids with mutant powers and abilities, but this is still being hotly debated in the councils.

The latest tech to hit the circles is the Lathe assembly array. This new technology makes use of a energy to matter conversion technology and a veritable swarm of nanobots to construct objects from the molecule up. The Dominion has only just begun to reverse engineer this technology, but has applied it to starship, robot, and equipment manufacturing facilities, reducing overall production time by nearly 55%.

Life Support Technologies:

Replication technology: Replication technology, derived from the matter conversion technology used by transporters, is used to synthetically reproduce any given object, usually a foodstuff or medicine, at the sub atomic level. Taking an allotment of prepared raw material and reorganizing it according to the replicant pattern of the desired object do this. Sadly, energy and materials patterning limits prevent the wholesale duplication of complex or ultra rare materials, like starships or Versallis crystals.

Transporter Technology: Transporter technology is based on the principle of converting matter to energy for transport to a different location where it is remotely reassembled into its original form. The advantages of this eliminate the need of maintaining large shuttles and permit near instantaneous transport to any location up to 150,000 kilometers away. Unfortunately, there are limitations and phenomena that interfere with the function of the transporter system such as densified metals, radiation or energy fields and even ley lines can have an adverse effect on transporters. Transporters operate in the quantum or molecular resolution.

Drive Technologies:

Sol - Bianca Drive (Subspace Submergence Drive): The SSD or Subspace Submergence Drive was reclassified as the Sol - Bianca Drive in honor of its inventors, Solaria and Bianca Willard of the Centauri colony. The S/B drive works by submerging the craft far enough into subspace to escape the SoL constant, permitting FTL travel between stars and even between galaxies. The Flight Speed/Submergence ratio increases the further into subspace the vessel goes, exponentially increasing its speed. The S/B drive would be vulnerable to subspace null fields or inert layers.

Geodesic Fold Array: Recently developed by Research and Development, the Geodesic fold array works by creating a corridor through space using the gravitonic influence of a large stellar body. The corridor is maintained through out by source generators. The Stellar body is only needed to generate the initial corridor, requiring the mass of atleast a Jupiter class planet. Initial testing of this drive revealed that the generated fold produced harmful radiation. This was later countered by adding a modified transdimensional jump engine to the array.

Transdimensional Jump Drive: Since this technology was discovered, not developed, the underlying principles of its operation are currently unknown. It is known that the TDD permits interdimensional travel.

Weapon Technologies:
PULSE cannons: Using the basic concepts of pulse lasers as applied to magnetically controlled particle weapons; the engineers of DynaTech devised the pulse canon technology. Capable of sustaining high firing rates with minimal heat, PUSLE weapons are coming to replace the aging laser defense system. Requiring the same amount of energy as a PDL and having a higher damage effect and tracking rate, the pulse cannon is found on many a ship.

Chroniton Weapons (Top Secret): Using chronitons as the core, the chroniton cannons and their missile counter-parts, the chroniton cruise missiles, are capable of penetrating most known force fields, excluding phase technology based shielding. The weapons are able to work thus as chronitons are temporal particles and exist far enough outside space time as to enable them to pass through. Phase shields, also being out of step with space-time block chronitons.

Tachyon Weapons: Tachyon weapons employ, as the name suggests, tachyons, elementary particles that travel at FTL through the cosmos. Harnessing this as a weapon system permits ship-to-ship combat at FTL speeds. tachyons do most of their damage when they crash through a ship at such high rates of speed, rather like a FTL powered sandblaster.

Dimensional Weapons (Top Secret): Dimensional weapons technology is extremely new, and has been applied to only one ship thus far. The enormity of the flux capacitance generators alone prohibits anything fewer than 10 kilometers in length. The dimensional cannon operates by interchanging the matter inside its area of effect with its reverse from another dimension, usually antimatter or negative matter. The result is either a pure energy reaction or the forcible destruction as the positive and negative matters repel each other.

Missiles: The Dominion's missiles have 90% more range and MDC to them and are approximately 45% faster then their Earthly Counterparts. The Dominion also has in its inventory micro missiles, which are also superior to those put out by Naruni Enterprises. (Which of course, has sparked nurmerous law suits and the typical intercorporate wars, etc.)
