New Characters:
No specific restrictions, other then legal class/race combos. I hold final approval on anything submitted. new characters should be submitted to zhor@themagestower.com with the Subject line of New Rifts Character
Starting level is currently 2nd
House Rules:
The GM is always right, cruel, sadistic and viscious, but always right (
)
-=Rifts=-
No -10 to dodge rule. but if your 80 MDC suit of armor gets hits hit with 81 points, and you don't have enough SDC/HP to soak up that last point, you're savry roast in sucks to be you sauce
Skills: Each use acrues a point. get a number of points equal to the skill's current level x 10, and it levels up to the next level IE: Radio Basic is level 1, you rack up 10 use points, it goes to level two and you add the +5%/level to the current base, and your points reset to 0
Experience Points: I track skill successes and failures separately. you fail on a skill roll, you don't get as much experience for it
-=Dungeons and Dragons=-
Dying: Characters are dying (aka bleeding out) until they reach their CON score in negative hit points (IE: Berny has CON of 23. he has -20 hit points. So he has some time yet to stablize or get healled)
Basic Movment: Movement does not cost extra to move on the diagonal
Abilities Scores: Roll 4d6, drop low: You may reroll one/1/I/Uno score if it sucks. You keep the new score even if it also blows
Level Adjustment Buyoff: You may pay XP to reduce level adjustment. IE: a +1 costs 1,000 XP to buy off. XP spent is this way vanishes from the uinverse and is never seen again and does not count toward gaining levels. IF you have a LA of +1 and your experience total is 2,000, and you buy off the level adjustment, your new XP total is 1000
I also reserve the right to bend, break, discombobulate or twiddle any rule as necessary
