There’s a lot to do on the Web, and Firefox 2 is full of helpful features to make your time online more productive.
Improved Tabbed Browsing

We love tabs as much as you do, so Firefox 2 will open new web pages in tabs by default. Each of those tabs has its own close button, but don’t worry - if you accidentally close a tab, just go to the History menu to bring it back from the list of “Recently Closed Tabs.” You’ll never be crunched for space anymore, either. When you have too many tabs open to comfortably fit in a single window, scroll arrows will appear on either side, and a button on the right side will always show you an easy-to-read list of all your open tabs.
Session Restore

Losing your place while you’re doing things on the Web is a pain. Now, with Session Restore, if Firefox has to restart or closes when it comes back you’ll pick up exactly where you left off. The windows and tabs you were using, the text you typed into forms, and the in-progress downloads you had running will all be restored. You can even set Firefox 2 to always restore your previous session instead of loading a home page, so you’ll never lose your place again.
Spell Checking

Sometimes you’re in a rush, and can’t remember if it’s “i” before “e” or the other way around. Firefox 2 has built-in spell checking to keep you from making any mistakes in your blog posts and Web-based email, so you can worry about more important things.
Search Suggestions

Some of the search engines in Firefox 2 can read your mind, and actually suggest search terms for what you’re looking for. Just start typing into the Search bar, and a drop down list of suggestions will appear. (Works for Google, Yahoo! and Answers.com.)
Web Feeds (RSS)

What do news headlines, indie rock podcasts, and pictures of kittens have in common? They’re all things that you can subscribe to with Web feeds. Firefox 2 gives you full control over Web feeds, showing you a preview and letting you choose how you want to subscribe. You can use a Firefox Live Bookmark, or a feed reader that you’ve installed on your computer, or through a Web service such as My Yahoo!, Bloglines or Google Reader.
Live Titles

Keep an eye on that auction or the status of a delivery using the new Live Titles feature in Firefox 2. Compact enough to fit as a bookmark label, Live Titles are regularly updated summaries of the most important information on a Web page. As the information on the page gets updated, so does your Live Title. Try one out in Firefox 2 by bookmarking http://www.woot.com.
Integrated Search

Firefox helps you find whatever it is that you’re looking for. The Search bar comes pre-loaded with search engines for Google, Yahoo!, Amazon, eBay, Answers.com, and Creative Commons. Wherever you are on the Web, you can enter a search term in the Search bar and receive immediate answers from the search engine you’ve chosen. You can select a new search engine from the Search bar menu at any time, and add search engines from hundreds of your favorite Web sites.
Live Bookmarks

Firefox Live Bookmarks let you view Web feeds such as news and blog headlines in the bookmarks toolbar or menu. With one glance, quickly review the latest headlines from your favorite sites and click to go directly to the articles that interest you.
Pop-up Blocker

Firefox keeps you in control of the Web pages you’re viewing, blocking annoying pop-ups. Firefox’s pop-up blocker notifies you when pop-ups are blocked via the information bar or icon on the lower right of the screen.
Streamlined Interface

The user interface in Firefox 2 has been updated to improve usability without altering the familiarity of the browsing experience.
Accessibility

Firefox delivers a better browsing experience for everyone - including those who are visually impaired. Firefox includes support for DHTML accessibility. Web developers can create pages that reduce the amount of tabbing required to navigate a document to minimize keystrokes for those with mobility disabilities. Firefox also includes support for Microsoft Active Accessibility, Microsoft’s accessibility API standard for Windows. This support allows Firefox to work with screen readers such as GW Micro’s Window-Eyes and Freedom Scientific’s JAWS.

I am a sailor in the New Zealand Navy. My parents live in the suburb of Seatoun and one of my sisters, who lives in Palmerston North, is married to a guy from Manchester, England. My father and mother have recently been arrested for growing and selling marijuana and are currently dependent on my two sisters, who are prostitutes in Auckland.I have two brothers, one who is currently serving a non-parole life sentence in Mount Eaden Prison, Auckland, for the rape & murder of a teenage boy in 1994, the other currently being held in the Wellington remand centre on charges of incest with his three children. I have recently become engaged to marry a former Thai prostitute who lives in Christchurch and indeed is still a part time "working girl" in a brothel, however, her time there is limited as she has recently been infected with an STD. We intend to marry as soon as possible and are currently looking into the possibility of opening our own brothel with my fiancee utilising her knowledge of the industry, working as the manager. I am hoping my two sisters would be interested in joining our team. Although I would prefer them not to prostitute themselves, at least it would get them off the streets and hopefully the heroin.

My problem is this: I love my fiancee and look forward to bringing her into the family and of course I want to be totally honest with her. Should I tell her about my brother-in-law being a Manchester United fan?

Hi,
Here some Introduction about the Windows 7 AppLocker

Windows 7 addresses the growing desire for application control solutions in the enterprise with the introduction of AppLocker: a simple and flexible mechanism that allows administrators to specify exactly what is allowed to run in their desktop environment. As a result, AppLocker provides not only security protections, but also operational and compliance benefits by:

    * Keeping unlicensed software from running in your desktop environment

    * Preventing vulnerable, unauthorized applications from running in your desktop environment, including malware

    * Stopping users from running applications that needlessly consume network bandwidth or otherwise impact the enterprise computing environment

    * Preventing users from running applications that destabilize their desktop environment and increase helpdesk support costs

    * Easing enterprise software deployments and maintenance through effective desktop configuration management

    * Allow users to install and run approved applications and software updates based upon their business needs

    * Helping ensure your desktop environment is in compliance with corporate policies and industry regulations such as PCI DSS, Sarbanes-Oxley, HIPAA, Basel II, and others

Speckled across the waters of the Garion Sea are the island colonies of the sea nation Val'Elt {as the modern colonists that live there call it}, where merchants, fishermen, prospectors and people gather from other edges of the known world to pursue some calling of theirs. For some reason, many islanders have realized many ambitious people oddly enough get drawn to their shores for little reason at all. Most people have adapted the idea its the scenery and pristine ocean air that brings them to the Val'Elt colony clusters.

Many islanders travel between nearby colonies by ferry and bridges of sand hidden to all until low tide. It's also not unlikely to see the local nut swim between the islands, after all, a fisherman knows the dangerous creatures of Garion sea don't frequent the hustling and bustling boater's route which are fairly thick for about 300 feet off of an island's shore.

Val'Elt is only the name of the nation, each and every island takes pride in naming it's settlement because not man islands are larger than a 2 mile radius, larger islands were snagged by nobility[damn richers].

Somethings are too badass for words

Others are defined by what you read about them, like Hercules, Samson, Beowulf and so many other archetype badasses found in literature. But you don't need to hear what's what when it comes to badasses, we've all got our own vision and idea of badass. That's why I made this, I'm interested in your creative styles and I don't think it can be nailed down with numbers and statistics like our dearly beloved D&D. So, what I'm going to need from you is simple and not very much different from what Zhor's asked from when creating a character here.

I'm going to need your badass character's...

[Badass]Name [you do have the option of having another title like a super hero too...say the Mangled Frenchmen for example]
Age [child, pre-teen, teenage, adult, middle aged, old as shit...whatever]
Gender [male, female, sasquatch, relative of the Bush family--you know what I mean]
Visual description [self explanatory I hope]
Background [what are the character's significant life events]
Known relatives [they may play into the story at some point]
Race [Unfortunately I'm going to restrict you to humans starting off]

...and then the cream and sugar...

[Badass]**Badass strength**:Each character may have ONE badass ability, be it using fire, flying at mach speeds, teleportation, laser breath (my personal favorite) it can be about whatever you want within reason...I'm restricting you from any chronomancy [controlling time] and abilities that could destroy the world or create new ones. You're badasses...not gods [yet anyways]. Make a character you'll enjoy playing for a while...no nuclear one-time exploding men [as awesome as that would be]. You may go even as far to have a simple ability that could lead to your badass having many different talents such as super dexterity where one could imagine being an excellent juggler, archer, writer and so on.

[Badass]**Assbad weakness**:In turn for having a **Badass strength** your badass will also have an Achille's heel [so to say], known to no one but you and I. This really should go without saying but there will come times where I put you in a situation where you'll have to overcome and endure your weakness. Famous examples include Superman and good ol' Kryptonite...Batman and orphan jokes...Cyclops without his visor. You're weakness should coincide with your strength, like if you're the incredible inflating man and you have open wounds you could say that you can't inflate because open spaces in your skin let out the gases you contain to inflate.

I'll be the judge of whether you character is accepted or not. PM me your character and I'll get back to your as promptly as possible. If you have ANY questions at all, don't hesitate to PM those either.

New Characters:
No specific restrictions, other then legal class/race combos. I hold final approval on anything submitted. new characters should be submitted to zhor@themagestower.com with the Subject line of New Rifts Character

Starting level is currently 2nd

House Rules:
The GM is always right, cruel, sadistic and viscious, but always right (:devilish:)
-=Rifts=-
No -10 to dodge rule. but if your 80 MDC suit of armor gets hits hit with 81 points, and you don't have enough SDC/HP to soak up that last point, you're savry roast in sucks to be you sauce

Skills: Each use acrues a point. get a number of points equal to the skill's current level x 10, and it levels up to the next level IE: Radio Basic is level 1, you rack up 10 use points, it goes to level two and you add the +5%/level to the current base, and your points reset to 0

Experience Points: I track skill successes and failures separately. you fail on a skill roll, you don't get as much experience for it

-=Dungeons and Dragons=-
Dying: Characters are dying (aka bleeding out) until they reach their CON score in negative hit points (IE: Berny has CON of 23. he has -20 hit points. So he has some time yet to stablize or get healled)

Basic Movment: Movement does not cost extra to move on the diagonal

Abilities Scores: Roll 4d6, drop low: You may reroll one/1/I/Uno score if it sucks. You keep the new score even if it also blows

Level Adjustment Buyoff: You may pay XP to reduce level adjustment. IE: a +1 costs 1,000 XP to buy off. XP spent is this way vanishes from the uinverse and is never seen again and does not count toward gaining levels. IF you have a LA of +1 and your experience total is 2,000, and you buy off the level adjustment, your new XP total is 1000

I also reserve the right to bend, break, discombobulate or twiddle any rule as necessary

LNX-I25-10 "Lennox" "Lenny" "...you!" -PC

Occupation: Experimental Military Robot (Original design alien, built with human technology...patent pending.)
Physical Description: Lennox is a heavily armored, human framed machine standing 6'10" and weighing around 800-900 lbs. The external armor is cobalt blue with the eyes a lighter luminescent blue which are the only feature to appear human. In the center of the chest plate, a scrap piece of metal that reads "Lennox" is crudely integrated with the armor. Other various logos, typically Japanese characters, are seen throughout Lennox's figure. Those familiar with the language can easily translate the phrases as "Spin dry", "Central AC control" and a 1-800 number for a Maytag repairman.

Lennox is often about on foot, observing typical day-to-day behavior of the locals or volunteering for demon extermination should any opportunity arise. No weapons are immediately visible, but prefers hand-to-hand combat anyhow.

The nearest town is Rivertown, which is Whitefalls' main trading partner.
Other towns are Silverton, Skyler, Osageo, and Thunderbluff.

Whitefalls itself is surrounded by farms and smaller townships that look to the town council for leadership.

The region has a moderate number of ley lines, with 5 or 6 major nexus points. At least two lines run down toward the coast of Texas and another runs almost into canada.

Until recently, the region has been fairly quiet, but now things are starting to heat up with monsters, unsavory types, and Coalition forces turning up like clipped coins.
